 Candy Wrappers Home Business

If you're sick of your day job and just want to be your own boss and set your own hours, then a home business might be for you. In this post, we'll teach you how to start a candy wrappers business if that's what interests you! We'll also talk about how much it will cost, how to get started, and how much money you can make from it.

To start, check out this page . It also talks about how to get a part-time job so you can pay your bills while you're starting up a home business. Oh, and if you don't think candy wrappers are for you, then check out this post about the best side hustles for people with no prior experience . If those things don't work for you, just keep reading!
If you're still interested in trying a home business, there are 2 types of candy wrapper businesses available: Private Label (where someone else sells your product under their label) and Manufacturer Direct (where YOU sell your own brand). In the second situation, you'll be applying to the plastic and paper companies that offer lines of candy wrappers.

If you want to try manufacturer direct, then check out these links:
Mondelez/Kraft Foods Application Line :  https://kraftheinzcareers.icims.com/jobs/2947/manufacturing-operations-assistant-ii/?job=13165212&tz=-5 Scruples Plastic : http://scruplesplastic.com/#contact-us Chocolate Manufacturers Directory : https://www.exoticchocolatesource.com/category/contact-us  (you will find a list of chocolate companies that make candy wrappers on the main page)
You'll want to make sure you have an application packet with at least a cover letter and resume sent to your potential employers with all of your references (aka "References"). They will also require a sample work order if you intend to be a private label business.
Once you're accepted and given the go-ahead, the bulk of your work time should be spent applying for additional business with local candy companies. Why? Because those are the only places that will hire someone new right off the bat.
Start finding these companies by simply looking online and reading reviews of candy wrapper factories. Of course, do this BEFORE you apply for a job. Once you find the right company, send them a business inquiry (via email) and ask if they offer private label. If you get a "no," then that's ok! That just means the factory isn't willing to take on high-risk businesses yet.
If they say "yes," then simply ask when the best time is to apply is, and do it! Most factories will go out of their way to help someone new, so don't feel intimidated! Get your name on a contract, pay your start up fees (if any) and you're off to a great start as an entrepreneur!
So what's the downside? Well, there is one...
The biggest challenge to starting a home business is getting customers. Sure, you'll be happy as heck being your own boss, but can you make enough money? Well, that's all up to you.
So lets say you did the research and found a potential factory that would give you a chance (like said above). So how much will it cost to start up? The cost varies from factory to factory. In one case, it was around $3,000 just for starting up, plus an additional $500 per month for insurance . In other cases it was much more reasonable.
If you're still determined to start a home business, then keep reading and we'll teach you how to set it up!
The first thing you'll need is a work space. Why? Because most factories have their own facility that they use for making little packets or labels. In order to set up a candy wrapper business, you'll need your own place in the same factory where they make candy wrappers.
Of course, that means you'll need to actually get approved by the company. They may ask for an application, references (from people who've worked with them before), and proof of some sort of collateral financially (apparently this is how insurance is paid for if you get an interesting job).
Once you've been approved, the next step is to start up your very own candy wrapper business! All of this will come with a cost (not including your start up fee). Here are the costs:
$50 - $100 – Start Up Fee: This is your money that you have to pay to get in. It's usually split amongst the various people doing the job. For example, if there are 3 people in a factory that makes candy wrappers, then each person gets .25-.50 of it.
$70 for Insurance: Most factories will require that you have insurance if you work for them. To insure yourself against any possible legal issues (such as accidents) they will charge you a fee.
$10 per day: This is your daily cost to work in the factory. It's usually split amongst the employees (so if you're working with 2 other people, that means you only need to pay $10).
If that sounds like too much, then be prepared to spend a few months just on setup fees. Once you have your own place in the factory, it'll take time to find new customers and negotiate better prices with them - so be prepared for that! Here are some links to help you along the way:
