The Hidden Agenda of ObamaCare : A Precautionary Tale? Posted on June 21, 2016 by  as per David Harris, President of EmpowerNetwork.com . . . . . . .

You don't get a better deal or higher quality care by virtue of paying extra, you just pay the same price for the same quality. This is true for all medical bills.

All medical bills and insurance premiums are based on a "chained" process that works this way: You go to see your doctor, who then sends out a report or diagnosis to your health insurance company and also to Medicare (the government's socialized health care insurance program). The report informs your insurance company that you have this or that condition and so they will then pay (or not pay) according to how much they think they can get away with. Your insurance company then sends out a bill to you. You pay (with the premium you paid for your health insurance policy or whatever monthly premium you assume is reasonable) and they pay their (usually smaller) chunk of the bill. The insurance company then sends a portion of their payment to doctors and hospitals, and eventually pays its full invoice to the government health care insurance program like Medicare or Medicaid. . . . . . .

So, with ObamaCare, were we not to pay for "full-coverage" health care? What we really got was "ObamaCare with no required coverages". This is because we still have our current "chained" process. With ObamaCare there were no mandated covered conditions (except for mental illness).

ObamaCare was just a way to keep us (the insured) in line with the government's payments and tax collections. This is called "hidden taxation".

So, how does ObamaCare work? There are two types of insurance/insurance policies:

1- Paid Policies: These policies run like any other insurance policy, except that the insured pays for their "premium" (the premium is based on how much risk you pose to the insurer because of your health care needs).

2- Mandated Policies: These policies are part of the government's program and are mandated by law or by federal regulation. There is no risk of being found "uninsurable" by an insurance company. I've read that there are only 3 types of mandated policies:

a. Social Security - the government's insurance program that kicks in when you retire and draw a retirement check.

b. Medicare - the government's socialized health care insurance plan that kicks in when you become 65-years-old and can no longer get private insurance to cover the costs of your medical expenses.

c. Medicaid - a government-run health care program for low income people (called "Medi-Cal" in California).

Every state has some form of government-run health care insurance program called "Medicaid". It is funded by Federal and State tax dollars.

The current health care insurance policies offered (the marketplace) are mandated under ObamaCare and run like the "paid policies" except there is no risk of an insurance company finding you to be uninsurable.

There are two types of health care insurance under ObamaCare: a) single or family plans, or b) small business employees plans. . . . . . .

A single/family plan is not a group plan like an employer group plan or union group plan or association group plan or professional group plan.

cONCLUSION: So, how does ObamaCare work and what are the hidden agendas? First, with respect to the mandate; if you are not a government employee, you pay for individual policies. If you are a government employee or other type of covered entity (anyone who is part of a group plan or union workers who have negotiated benefits from their employer), then you pay for your private employer's plan or your union's plan.

The President and his Administration knew that they had to get as many people as possible on board to buy health insurance and they knew they needed to do it quickly because they were going to lose control of the U.S.
