I don't know about you, but I am seriously tired of playing poker games with my wife secretly in our home. She always knows when we have been playing and it's almost impossible to throw her off the trail. So, here is a quick guide on how to take your poker game out of your living room without the risk of your wife finding out. It may be hard at first but eventually you will learn to keep up appearances. Enjoy!

1. Practice throwing a poker game in your house from time to time before you need to use this method. Learn the cards and how poker games function so when it's time to play in your home you have a sense of routine about it and know what will happen.[1] 2. Play the game with your wife so she has a good idea how things work and what moves will be made next by both players in the game.[2] 3. Tell your wife that you are having friends over to play a board game or game of cards. Pick a time when she is either resting, working, or occupied with the kids. Tell her the time to play and how long you will be playing and ask her again that she has no objections.[3] 4. Make sure you have a great poker face so when it's your turn to bluff she doesn't notice. If she does, don't panic and simply keep going through the course of the game as if nothing had happened.[4] 5. Keep Track of all amounts being betted in each round during each hand of poker played so that way you can keep track of what everyone at the table might have in their hand. This will most likely be a difficult task, so try your best to remember what everyone has. If you forget, don't be afraid and ask for help.[5] 6. Keep track of all the players betting in each round and continue the game as normal with your wife. You're almost done!

7. Have fun with your friends that you invited over – Take turns playing board games or socializing while others are playing poker.[6] 8. The next time you want to play poker in your home it should be easy, just follow steps 2-5 and everything should go perfectly fine.
