There is of course a million ways and one well be the most effective, but they just don't know which one is best for them. So here are seven of my favourite methods that I've found helpful in increasing referrals, ranking higher and establishing myself as an expert online.

1) Free traffic through Facebook: Facebook is a great way to bring in valuable visitors from around the globe without paying anything out! If you haven't already set up your page make sure you do so now before continuing on this list. Start off by getting a name for your page and if you're out of ideas then you can always look at the popular suggestions in your niche to find one that is relevant to you. When selecting your page name try to avoid word that will not attract anyone or have any keyword related keywords in it.

Once you've set up your page, the first thing you need to do is get yourself some fans on Facebook which will help you reach more people and will increase the chance of someone liking and sharing your content on their wall. To do this simply like all of your friends pages with relevant keywords in them, this will help attract more people from where ever they may be who also interest that keyword. Once you have done this it's time to promote your page on Facebook, there are basically two main ways you can do this.

a) By paying to advertise your post: This is something we don't really want to do because it costs money and the results are not generally worth it unless you have a lot of money set aside for advertisement. If you're going to be paying for traffic then you need high quality people who will stick around and visit your site regularly, if they aren't interested in becoming a follower or customer then they will just click off the page after the ad is finished playing and won't return.

b) By getting people to like your page: This is the easiest way to get likes and it is free! If you just ask people for them they are more likely to comply and if they want you to boost their friends number of likes then that's a great incentive! Just make sure that your page name doesn't have any word related that will attract any negative comments or spam, these topics will not be welcome by your fans. If you do this correctly you should begin to see an increase in your followers very quickly.

2) Free traffic through YouTube: YouTube has become a great way for many people to share their videos and when sharing videos on YouTube the URL address of the video plays a vital part. By having an SEO friendly video address you can increase the amount of free traffic you're receiving from YouTube. There are two ways you can do this; one is to use the keyword in the actual title of your video and another way is to have a keyword relevant URL address on your websites. For example use something like www.mywebsite.com/mykeyword to get more relevant traffic to your site using a keywords or something like www.mywebsite.
